He holds an associate in Biblical Studies, a bachelor in Religious Education, a bachelor in History, a master in Religious Education, a master in History, and a Ph. D. in Organizational Leadership. He is the President of House Church Networks. Dr. Owens currently teach History, Political Science, Religion, and Leadership for Southside Virginia Community College.
